Connie Mack Stadium was the home of the Philadelphia Phillies from 1955 to 1970, with a capacity of 33,608; the ballpark originally opened in 1909 as Shibe Park, one of the first steel-and-concrete stadiums in Major League Baseball, and was renamed for the longtime Athletics manager in 1953.
