Lambeau Field has been the home of the Green Bay Packers since 1965, when the venue — originally opened in 1957 as New City Stadium — was renamed in honor of team founder Curly Lambeau. It is remembered for hosting the legendary 1967 "Ice Bowl" NFL Championship game in sub-zero temperatures, and remains the only stadium in the NFL that is majority-owned by its fans.
