Sanford Stadium

Sanford Stadium has been the home of Georgia Bulldogs football since 1929, named for former university president S.V. Sanford. Its hedges lining the field, planted shortly after the stadium opened, became such an iconic symbol of the program that "between the hedges" is shorthand for playing at Georgia.
